Meet Mrs. Teresa

Hello! My name is Teresa Leitch and I am so looking forward to getting to know you and your child this year!  I have been teaching at ELC during the summer for the last 6 years and this will be my second year to teach during the school year, too.  Also, during the school year I teach for Tech-Kidz where I go to preschools and teach computer class for children aged 3-5 years old.   I have a BS in Home Economics in Family & Child Studies from TCU. I have taught preschool Sunday school for over 20 years at my church, Travis Ave. Baptist Church.  This is also where I met my husband, Kirk.  We have been married almost 29 years and have 3 wonderful children; Rachel (24), Jason (21) and Maddie (17).  We have lived in Aledo for 15 years and love living out in the country yet still close to Ft. Worth.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about your child.  I want your child to have a wonderful experience in our class and you to have peace of mind that they are being loved and well cared for.  I look forward to a great year!

Some of my favorite things:

Food:  Mexican and Chinese food, frozen yogurt

Scent:  Tropical and floral

Hobbies:  Reading, watching movies and playing games with my family,       swimming

Birthday:  April 18

Meet Mrs. Liz

My husband, Clyde and I are the proud grandparents of five.

All of them  have attended  ELC for a time.  I retired from teaching four-year-olds in 2013 and came to work at ELC.   This is my second year in the Ducks class.

Clyde and I moved to Fort Worth four years ago at the encouragement of our three daughters who wanted grandparents close by them.  It has been the best move we have made in our forty three years of marriage.  Clyde and I met in college and while he went into the Marines, I became a stay-at-home mom.  When our youngest went off to sixth grade, I went back to teaching.

Working at ELC and having the chance to play with your children feels like a natural progression of my life.  Little people, blocks, dolls, and trucks, a truly wonderful job!

I look forward to spending this year exploring with your child.
