I grew up in Irving, TX where I also happened to meet my awesome husband, Chris. We have been married for 12 years now and have the most amazing 11-year-old boy, Seth. We have lived in Burleson for almost 9 years and love it!  Most of our free time is spent practicing baseball with our son and going to Ranger games.  I graduated from the Culinary School of Fort Worth in December of 2009.  However, I have chosen to use those skills part time so I could continue to spread love over your sweet children at the ELC.

This will be my 9th year at the ELC and my 5th year in the infant class. I have also worked in the young 1s for 1 year, young 2s for 2 years, floated and taught art for 1 year as well. I feel so blessed to be able to work here at McKinney with your precious babies.  I really look forward to watching them grow!!

I am so excited about teaching your child this year!  I am looking forward to getting to know and love your child.  I would like to tell you a little about myself.

I grew up in Aledo, Texas, about 20 miles west of Fort Worth.  After high school I moved to Houston and attended San Jacinto College to get my Medical Assisting Degree.  Shortly after that I went back to school to get my NCT, which is a certificate to take x-rays.  I worked in the medical field for about three years.  I absolutely LOVE working at the ELC!  This is my 8th year as a teacher at ELC.   My husband and I were married in November of 2004.  He is a director over plant operations at Reliant Rehabilitation Hospital in Bedford.  We have two daughters, Sealee (8), Maelee (6) and a 3-month-old son, Tate.  I also have two stepsons, Morgan (20) and McClain (15).  God has really blessed us in the area.  They are a great joy in our lives!

Some of my favorite things to do are:  Spending time with my family, going to the kid’s events, going to the lake, snow skiing, getting pampered, talking to people, meeting people, and watching movies.  My favorite places to eat are:  Japanese Palace, Chipotle, Fuzzy Tacos, Mimi’s Café, Taco Casa, and Sonic.

I am very excited to get to be a part of this early learning center and to be in your child’s life.  I am blessed to say this is my sixth year to be part of this team.   I will do my very best to make this year fun and exciting for your child.
